Hi! Hope you enjoyed the show last night! I had a question from Dr. Carol Francis. She wanted to know how do you know what happens in your mind is real, or if it is just your imagination.

The answer is complicated! Lots of people do their research on a time period or person and find out that it is at least possible that this actually happened. There is a lot of research out there on the topic, some of which is actually verified.

From the standpoint of the therapist I have to say that it doesn’t matter if it is real or not. The fact is, that it works. And, that is real!

Imagination and belief, the power of the mind, using this power to heal and change a person’s life is well documented.

Stephanie Joy shares her past life regression experience.

I was fortunate enough to have a past life regression done by my good friend and very talented Medium/Hypnotherapist Mary O’Maley. My intentions I set for the regression were to help remove any blocks I may have with my work and my weight.

As she was taking me “down” the stairs to the relaxed state, I noticed my beloved Deija (my Rottweiler who passed away last year) was walking with me down the stairs, as a guide and protector, letting me know I was safe. She followed me to the doorway, and as I stepped through, I found myself in Greece… I got the number 8 for the date, so I don’t know if it was 800 BCE, 8 AD, 800 AD… but it felt ancient. I saw the way she was dressed, in a rough dress that I could only de scribe as rougher than linen, but not as rough as burlap… I saw sandals on her feet, she was wearing gold and possibly bronze jewelry. She was very thin, too thin… and pale for someone in her region. She was indoors. Her name was Melissa. I knew she was a wife and a mother, I saw her grinding some sort of grain and I knew her husband worked the land.

I saw her touching people, helping people, healing people. But she didn’t know how to heal without taking on the negative energy of people… she was fatigued, too thin because of it. The energy felt too big for her. Mary asked me to see the healing energy around me, and I saw the Christ energy in front of me. He and I were one, I recognized this. I received a healing for Melissa and for the present day me. In that moment I understood my fear and my emotional block for my work and was healed, as well as my weight issue… I’ve been trying to make myself bigger to hold the very big energy that is within me… Mary helped me to see that I no longer need it as a protection.

As I walked back out the “door,” my dog Deija was waiting for me and she took me back up the stairs, to my conscious state. I “woke up” with tears in my eyes. I later researched the clothing I was wearing, which was called a peplos, and it was made out of wool… and it turns out that Melissa is a Greek name that means “honey bee” and “servant of Jesus.”

It was truly a healing experience. I recommend a regression with Mary for anyone who may want some insight into a past life or to help with current blocks. I have also received a mediumship reading from Mary and was blown away by her accuracy and her insights. Mary is a special gift received at the perfect time in my life.

Stephanie researched the possibilities after her regression and was amazed at the consistancies!

    Thanks for sharing, Stephanie.
